Driver arrested in relation to deadly 2023 crash in Lenawee County
MACON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State Police (MSP) announced on social media that an arrest had been made in relation to a deadly two-car crash that occurred in September 2023.

On Sept. 4, 2023, a Ford F-150 was driving southbound on Britton Highway when it was hit by a Ford F-250 going eastbound on Milwaukee Road. The driver and two passengers of the F-150 died at the scene. A third passenger of the F-150 was transported to ProMedica Hickman Hospital and later died.
Police said the ages of the driver and the passengers were 35, 33, 23 and 18.
The driver of the F-250, a 55-year-old, was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor with life-threatening injuries. MSP said the driver was at fault.
Nearly a year later, on Aug. 15, 2024, MSP said the 55-year-old driver was charged and arrested on four counts of reckless driving causing death.
He is now behind bars and awaiting arraignment.
