Michigan State President Engler says he’ll resign next week

Michigan State University's interim President John Engler says in his 11-page resignation letter that he'll quit in a week.

An emergency board meeting has been called by the MSU Board of Trustees for Thursday morning.

Many residents rejected a 20-year plan to fix the roads, but there was a surprise when the council decided to adjust it by giving voters two options to fix the roads.

For more than a decade, some downtown roads have been one-way streets.Soon, they'll cater to traffic going both ways.
