Driver arrested after car crashes into Lansing home overnight

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing police have started an investigation into how one man crashed his car into a home overnight Friday.

The Lansing Police and the Fire Departments told News 10 that the car and house had significant damages, but neither the driver nor anybody in the home was hurt.

Police said this all unfolded just before 1 a.m. at a house near the intersection of Cedar and Maple Streets.

The driver has been arrested.

Police said they are working to find out if drugs or alcohol were factors in this crash.
