Van stolen from Michigan Avenue in Calhoun County, owner’s dog found safe

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - Police in Marshall are searching for a suspect accused of stealing a car with the owner’s dog inside.

On Thursday morning, the Marshall Police Department said an unknown person stole a silver 2009 Toyota Sienna. Police said the owner’s dog was in the van.

The van was stolen from the 1000 block of East Michigan Avenue in Marshall.

Police said the dog had been found and returned to its owner. They also released a photo of the suspect who allegedly stole the van.

People who see the van can call dispatch immediately and should not approach the vehicle.
