WILX-TV 10 named Station of the Year

DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) -- WILX-TV 10 was named Station of the Year at the Michigan Association of Broadcasters’ annual Broadcast Excellence Awards.

The awards ceremony was held Saturday night at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit. It celebrates the best in broadcasting across the state of Michigan

“The Station of the Year award is a testament to the amazing efforts from all corners of our station, continuously serving our community with excellence,” said Debbie Petersmark, WILX-TV 10 General Manager. “I’m especially proud of Studio 10, Lansing’s only daily lifestyle show, and our Make an Impact initiative, a stationwide collaboration that has increased awareness and donations for some important and charitable causes across our communities.”

In addition to the Station of the Year, WILX-TV 10 received a total of 16 awards for the station’s work in 2024. That made News 10 the most recognized station in Market 3, covering the Lansing-Jackson and Traverse City-Cadillac television markets.
