Ingham County non-emergency 911 phone lines are back up

LANSING, Mich. (WILX)- Ingham County 911 says the non-emergency phone line issue has been restored.

Ingham County 911 was directing residents to place non-emergency calls elsewhere in the midst of a phone issue.

In an emergency alert just after 6 p.m. Sunday, the department said Ingham County 911 non-emergency phone lines are down.

Another emergency alert was sent out just after 8:30 p.m., saying the non-emergency phone issues had been resolved and that people may resume calling local agencies if they need assistance.
