Siegfried Dies

Former Ohio State and Boston Celtics star Larry Siegfried died Thursday night at the age of 71. He'd been at the Cleveland Clinic since suffering a heart attack on October 5th. Siegfried co captained the 1961 Buckeyes team and played on the 1960 national championship team. A native of Shelby, Ohio Siegfried was a member of the great 1960 Buckeye team that won the NCAA championship behind Jerry Lucas at center and sixth man Bobby Knight.
