Don't touch the "Earned Income Tax Credit"
That message today came from a group opposing a house bill that would eliminate the credit and put the money toward fixing the roads.
The measure has support among many republicans, eliminating it would save about $115 million a year.

The earned income tax credit helped 780-thousand low-income workers last year, according to the state.
