East Lansing Selects New Superintendent

By  |

There's a new superintendent at East Lansing Public Schools.

The Board of Education voted Wednesday night to offer the position to Dr. Robyne Thompson. She's the executive director of secondary education for the Ann Arbor school district.

Thompson beat out two other finalists--- the principal of Haslett High School, and a curriculum administrator from the Grosse Pointe Public School system.

Thompson will replace interim superintendent Clifford Seybert, who stepped in after David Chapin stepped down.
