News 10 contacted Edward Jackson's attorney, Jamie White, who told us, "The allegations are shocking. Mr. Jackson has a reputation of being hard working and honest. There are two sides to every story and we look forward to presenting our story when appropriate."

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Sergeant Christopher Baldwin at (517) 483-6846 or christopher.baldwin@lansingmi.gov.

Jackson is being held on a $40,000 bond with a GPS tether, his attorney tells News 10 that his family is in the process of posting it.
