WMU track coach put on paid administrative leave

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WILX) -- Western Michigan University has placed a coach on paid administrative leave.

The university confirmed Friday women's track and field and cross county head coach Kelly Lycan was put on leave Thursday.

Western Michigan University is not commenting further.

Lycan has been head coach at Western Michigan University since the 2001-2002 season.

His suspension comes as the Broncos' track team is competing in the MAC Individual Championships in Ohio on Feb. 22 and Feb. 23.
