The Detroit Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning-- not enough to overcome a large deficit in a 17-3 loss to the Oakland A's Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. Spencer Turnbull gave up a grand slam home run to Jurickson Profar in the second inning after an error kept a rally alive to make it 6-0 and the rout was on. Marcus Semion later hit a three run homer. The Tigers are 0-4 on their home stand and have three more games with the A's beginning Friday night.
