Tigers Lose To Cleveland

The Detroit Tigers' five game winning streak ended Tuesday afternoon in an 8-2 loss at Comerica Park to the Cleveland Indians. The result moves the Indians past Detroit into first place in the American League's Central Division standings-- Cleveland is 7-3 and the Tigers are now 7-4. Jordan Zimmerman was the starting and losing pitcher for the Tigers after two opening wins. Cleveland hit four home runs during the day. The teams meet in game two of the three game series at 1:10pm Wednesday in Detroit.
