Tigers Lose Home Finale

The Detroit Tigers finished their worst home season in franchise history Thursday with a 10-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins. Minnesota clinched its first Central Division title Wednesday night for the first time since 2010. The Twins hit two home runs Thursday and now have a major league record 301 for the season. Jordan Zimmerman was the starting and losing pitcher for the Tigers and his final record is 1-13 for the season. Zimmerman makes $25 million this year. The Tigers now have a 46-112 record, they were 1-5 on the final homestand and have four games left in Chicago against the White Sox beginning with a twi night doubleheader Friday night.
