The Stanley Cup® to make appearance at Munn on Friday

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- The Stanley Cup®, long recognized as the most famous trophy in all of sports, will be on display at Munn Ice Arena on Friday, Jan. 4, when the Spartans take on Ohio State at 7 p.m.

The Cup will be on the Munn concourse beginning when the arena doors open at 6 p.m. through the end of the second intermission.

In total, 11 Spartans have hoisted Lord Stanley's Cup™, including head coach Danton Cole with the New Jersey Devils in 1995. Duncan Keith was the last Spartan to win the Cup as he claimed his third with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015.
