East Lansing, MI (WILX) -- Michigan State Spartans (3-1) played against the Indiana Hoosiers (3-1) on Saturday.
This was a close game. Spartans and Hoosiers appeared evenly matched as they battled back and forth all night for the lead.
Spartans held on in the final quarter as it looked like the Hoosiers were set up to win with only 2 minutes left in the game.
But with a surprising touchdown in the last minute the Spartans were able to secure the win, 40-31.
During the first half the Spartans moved quickly to get in range for a touch down and scored, putting them in the lead going into the second half.

The Spartans and Hoosiers went toe-to-toe at the Spartan Stadium during homecoming weekend.
Kickoff was at 3:30.
Michigan State University alumni, students, and fans showed up to support their team.
The Spartans have won two in a row over the Hoosiers and Indiana hasn’t won in East Lansing since 2001.
