San Francisco, Calif. (WILX)-- On Saturday, The Michigan State Spartans held its last practice before the big game against the Oregon Ducks.
There was an emotional sendoff for the seniors that will be putting on their Spartans football uniforms for the last time.
"Everybody here knows, I spend every day with Darrell. We lived together since freshman year and our lockers are right next to each other. I spent four years with him so, moving on, it's like, 'man, that's my best friend,' and stuff like that," said MSU wide receiver Felton Davis III.
"A lot of emotion, you know, as I was talking to my tight end coach about just how many practices I have been a part of, and it was north of 400. It is crazy, I have spent a lot of time here and I am very grateful for every moment and practice I got to lace up and strap on the green and white," said MSU tight end Matt Sokol.
The Redbox Bowl is set for 3 p.m. Eastern on New Year's Eve.
