Red Wings Sign Three Players

LANSING, Mi The Detroit Red Wings have signed three players so far in the NHL's free agency period. Detroit brings back Forward Valtteri Filppula who played for the Red Wings for much of his 14 year career. Filppula comes back on a two-year, $6M dollar deal.

Detroit also added defenseman patrik nemeth who played in Colorado last season. Nemeth's contract is also for two years and six million dollars.

Lastly the Wings also signed goaltender calvin pickard to a two-year, 1.4 million dollar deal to add depth in between the pipes.
