Ohio State Shakes Up Its Football Staff

New Ohio State football coach Ryan Day has released defensive coordinator Greg Schiano. And he is bringing in Michigan assistant Greg Mattison as a co defensive coordinator. Mattison has been on Jim Harbaugh's Michigan staff since 2015 and it is his second tour of duty with the Wolverines. In addition Monday, Ohio State quarterback Duane Haskins declared for the NFL draft, giving up, as expected, his senior year. Underclassmen have until January 14th to declare. The Big Ten has not had a quarterback chosen in the first round of the NFL draft since Kerry Collins of Penn State back in 1995.
