Michigan's Brewer Named Big Ten Baseball Player of the Year

The 2019 Big Ten Baseball Tournament starts May 22 in Omaha.

Michigan junior outfielder Jordan Brewer was named Tuesday Big Ten baseball player of the year by the conference. Brewer led the Big Ten in batting with a .358 average. He is a native of St. Joseph, Michigan. Michigan had nine players in all honored by the conference in various ways-- Michigan State had three players honored including infielder Royce Ando, a senior named all Big Ten second team.
