MASON, MI. (WILX) -- In the first half, this game was a close one. Mason was only up 14-6 going into halftime, but the floodgates opened in the second half. Mason picked off Haslett on their first two drives of the second half and were able to point up touchdowns after both takeaways. Mason would run away with this one in the second half winning with a final score of 41-6. The Bulldogs are now 3-0 and beat the Vikings for the first time since 2016.
Haslett falls to 1-2 on the season but looks to rebound next week as they travel to Fowlerville.
Mason improves to 3-0 on the season and looks to stay undefeated as they travel to Lansing Eastern.
