Mason Bulldogs take on Okemos Chiefs

OKEMOS, MI (WILX) -- Thursday was rivalry night for Okemos.

The Okemos Chiefs were looking to win their third straight game over the Mason Bulldogs.

In the first quarter, Okemos Quarterback Jeremiah Salem finds Grant Holtzer who is hit hard by Mason's Chance Strickland. Strickland had quite a game.

Holtzer gets his revenge on Strickland though. Salem drops back and goes deep over the middle and finds his big wide receiver. That's a first down in bulldog territory.

That would lead to this, a 46 yard field goal attempt from John Luca Migaldi and it's pure with plenty of leg. Okemos took the lead and the fans were feeling pretty good.

Mason would answer in the 2nd quarter. Just about a minute before halftime . Strickland on the carry from one yard out punches it in. Mason took a seven to three lead.

And the Bulldogs and Okemos would get suspended with Mason leaded 14 to 3. This game will be picked up tomorrow at 10 a.m.
