MSU Hockey Off To Minnesota

Michigan State's hockey team next plays two games at Minnesota this Friday and Saturday nights. The Spartans have a 4-6 season record while the Gophers are 3-5-1. MSU has dropped five games in a row after being swept by Notre Dame, the number eight ranked team in the nation. MSU has scored just two goals in its last three games combined. MSU is now ranked 30th in the country of 60 division one teams in the latest Pairwise rankings. MSU, the pre season pick to finish in the Big Ten basement, is now 0-2 in league play and faces all conference teams up to the Great Lakes Tournament at the end of December.
