ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WILX) -- The Detroit Lions adding a familiar face to the team's offseason roster today.
The Lions signed former Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook to a futures deal.
Cook is expected to compete for a backup job with the lions next season.
The ex-Spartan has bounced around the NFL since he was cut by the Oakland Raiders before this season started.
He was most recently on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad.
Cook was taken by the raiders in the fourth round of the 2016 draft.
Connor Cook has the most career wins of any quarterback in Michigan State football history.
