The Detroit Lions had a few picks on the 2nd night of the NFL Draft. With the 35th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Lions selected Georgia RB D'Andre Swift.

Swift will join Kerryon Johnson in the Lions backfield next season.

Detroit then made a pair of selections in the 3rd round. First Detroit took edge rusher Julian Okwara from Notre Dame with the 67th overall pick. Then the Lions traded up in the draft, swapping with the Indianapolis Colts to draft Jonah Jackson, a guard from Ohio State University.

Michigan OLB Josh Uche was selected by the New England Patriots in the 2nd round. The Patriots traded up in the draft to select the former Wolverine. Uche now joins another former Wolverine Chase Winovich in New England.
