The Detroit Lions Thursday traded veteran defensive back Darius Slay to the Philadelphia Eagles where he received a three year contract extension. The Lions received third and fifth round draft choices in return. Slay was a three time all pro back for the Lions but requested a trade late last season. He now becomes the highest paid defensive back in the NFL.
