Lions Sign Veteran Safety

The Detroit Lions have signed free agent veteran safety Marcus Gilchrist. He played all 16 regular season games last year for the Oakland Raiders. The Lions traded their starting safety Quandre Diggs to the Seattle Seahawks earlier this week. The Lions host the New York Giants at Ford Field this Sunday. The Lions have lost three games in a row and have a 2-3-1 season record.
