The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that principal owner Martha Firestone Ford is stepping aside at age 93. Her second daughter, Sheila Ford Hamp, assumes the franchise's lead administrative role. Hamp is already serving on several NFL committees. Martha Ford took over the team in 2014 upon the death of her husband, William Clay Ford.
