Okemos' Tim Lilleboe is the winner of the 2019 Michigan Open golf championship. The final round Thursday at the Bear near Traverse City was cancelled because of rain. Lilleboe was declared the winner because he led after three rounds at 13 under par, five shots better than any other player. The 31-year old mini tour player won $8,000. He will now try to qualify for the PGA tour Rocket Mortgage Classic set for the Detroit Golf Club beginning June 27th.
