(WILX) -- Michigan State has had, like most other schools, athletes with great ability who threw it away away from the field or court.
Charles Rogers comes to mind and now so does Malik McDowell.
The video is spreading of him involved in a fracas with four police officers in February in a suburban Detroit convenience store.
Two felony charges are pending and the video hardly makes McDowell attractive to any prospective NFL teams.
He was a 2017 second round pick of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.
He never played in a game and all that opportunity and money all now seem to be long gone. What a waste.
