(WILX) -- Who knows how Michigan State's football season might have been if Jayru Campbell had been the quarterback.
His story is well known.
He verballed to MSU then got into massive legal problems at Detroit Cass Tech High School.
MSU rescinded its offer and Campbell ended up in a junior college.
Now he's starring in his first season at Ferris State and is the GLIAC player of the year.
That's Ferris but in my view he had the skills that might have given MSU a special season beyond what it endured this fall.
