Hawks Cut Ex Spartan Davis

The NBA's Atlanta Hawks Tuesday cut former Michigan Stater Deyonta Davis who only played nine games with the team after signing a non guaranteed three year contract earlier this spring. Davis spent most of last season with Santa Cruz in the G League. He has now played for four NBA teams after being chosen 31st in the 2016 NBA draft. Davis was Mr. Basketball in 201`5 out of Muskegon High School and played one season at Michigan State.
