LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Michigan State Spartans are double-digit favorites when they play Bucknell Friday night in the NCAA Tournament at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
MSU has been picked by a number of sports analysts to not only make it to the final four, but to win the National Championship on April 2nd.
The Spartans head into the tournament as the three seed in the Midwest region of the bracket.
For the majority of MSU's players, they'll either be entering into their first or second NCAA tournament ever.
Jaren Jackson Jr. said, "All the hard work that we've put into this season it's finally all about to come together and with the three seed it means that we've really put together a good body of work for the selection committee and we're just in a position to be able to play close to home."
You can watch the eight teams playing in the NCAA Tournament, including Michigan State, practice at Little Caesars Arena for free on Thursday.
Practice starts at 11 AM.
Each team gets about forty minutes on the court.
