GRAND LEDGE, Mi (WILX) -- East Kentwood dominated against the Comets of Grand Ledge and established a strong lead early that they rode all the way to the end of regulation.
In the third quarter, Christian Tanner aired it out long to Ja'Moni Jones for a 75-yard touchdown to stack on to their lead and make things 32-0.
Grand Ledge had a flicker of hope after a fumble recovery by Connor Winan set them up for an easy punch-in score up the middle. Carter Selby took an option himself up the middle for their only six points on the day.
The falcons came away victorious 39-6. Grand Ledge is now 0-2 in their 2019 campaign thus far.
