Bills Assign New Starting Quarterback

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- The Buffalo Bills are turning to newly signed veteran quarterback Derek Anderson to fill in for rookie starter Josh Allen Sunday at Indianapolis. Coach Sean McDermott has ruled Allen out with a sprained elbow on his throwing arm. The 35-year-old Anderson is preparing to make his first start in nearly two seasons after being lured out of semi-retirement last week to serve as Allen's mentor.
