Ann Emmerich's Fabulously Filling Chili Over Rice


1lb. ground beef
1large can tomato sauce
2 small cans petite diced tomatoes
1 medium white onion
1 can dark red beans
Chili powder to taste ( use about 2 tablespoons or more)
Cooked white or brown rice


Brown meat and onion in a large saucepan over medium/high heat. I usually drain some of the fat when it’s done. Add tomato sauce and petite diced tomatoes. Drain Kidney beans and add to sauce. Add chili powder and stir. Bring to a boil. Turn to low and stir occasionally. Serve over rice. Enjoy!
