A new French study reveals some mixed results on whether or not e-cigarettes help smokers kick the habit.
Researchers tracked over five-thousand adults who smoked on a daily basis.
They found people who used e-cigarettes smoked fewer regular cigarettes, and made more attempts to quit.
However, e-cigarettes increased the risk of relapse among those who did stop smoking.
The study was led by researchers at Sorbonne Universite (FRA) and published in 'JAMA Internal Medicine'
