UPDATE: Sunday, March 26th was Olivia Enderle's actual birthday.

Her mother, Emily Enderle says Olivia has received over 2,000 cards.

"I am so thankful for every person that sent presents, gifts, and birthday wishes to my little girl," she said. " Thank you for making Olivia's birthday so special. "

7 -year old Olivia Enderle is a survivor.

On May 16, 2010, Olivia went to Sparrow hospital where she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nerve tissues that is most often found in children.

Her mother, Emily Enderle says she pent 282 days fighting for her life at the University of Michigan Mott Children's hospital and did eight rounds of chemotherapy.

"At one point they said to take her home and just enjoy her because she has only a month or two left, " she said. "We said no ... and kept fighting."

The cancer even took both of Olivia's kidneys which caused her to need a transplant on June 17, 2016.

"Her aunt gave Olivia her kidney," said Olivia's mother. " We are so thankful."

Olivia survived and continued to beat the odds reaching another milestone - her birthday on Sunday, March 26.

Olivia says all she wants are birthday cards and Elmo.

Right now Olivia has received 25 birthday cards in the mail and she hopes to reach 100.
