Wrong-way crash leaves three people dead

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI (WILX) - A third person has died after a wrong-way crash in Washtenaw County.

It happened at 2 am on M-14 in Superior Township Saturday Morning.

A 23-year-old woman from Ann Arbor was going the wrong way in the eastbound lane and struck another vehicle head-on.

The driver of that car, as well as a child in the car were killed. Four others were flown to the hospital, where one died.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the woman and child killed are the wife and daughter of Howard Moore, an assistant men's basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin. The newspaper reports that Moore and his son were also in the vehicle but survived.
