Work underway to build bridge on Michigan Avenue

Work is underway to build a new bridge on Michigan Avenue over the railroad tracks in Parma.
Amtrack has approved the special permits allowing the Jackson County Department of Transportation to start work Monday.
Part of Michigan Avenue is shut down during construction.
The project is supposed to be finished by the fall of this year.
