Lansing, MI (WILX) -- Wintry mix weather conditions hit mid-Michigan Tuesday morning and caused roads to become very slick.
News 10's Lauren Baker traveled all over the Lansing area and found that many of the roads were covered in snow.
There was little visibility of lanes and many cars were seen sliding as drivers tried to stop at red lights.
Plow trucks and salt trucks made there way to streets but hit the main streets before hitting the side streets.
As the morning went on, sleet began to fall causing the roads to become more slippery.
New 10 traveled with their seat belts on and their camera connected to the dashboard safely at all times.
