Wearing a hearing aid may help reduce the risk of dementia

Hearing loss is known to increase the risk of dementia, but wearing a hearing aid may help reduce that risk.
Researchers in the U.K. tracked 25-thousand older adults with mild to moderate hearing loss.
They found seniors who wore a hearing aid for two years performed better in memory and attention tests than those who did not wear the devices.
Experts say more research is needed , but if you are advised you need a hearing aid find one that works for you.
It will improve your hearing, and it could keep your brain sharp too.
The study was led by researchers at University of Exeter and presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference
