LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - As of Jan. 28, warming centers have been activated in Lansing.
The Lansing office of emergency management put in to play the warming centers when they learned of the extreme cold coming to mid-Michigan on Wednesday.
Warming centers are especially important for seniors and people with chronic health conditions.
