Want to live longer... eat more fiber

By  |

Eating a high-fiber diet can help reduce the risk of serious illness, and death.
That's according to a new study from the World Health Organization.
It showed people who ate at least 25-grams of fiber a day had significantly lower rates of heart disease, diabetes and colon cancer than those who ate less.
They also had a 30% lower risk of dying from any cause.
The average American consumes just 15-grams of fiber a day.
