COLUMBUS, Ohio (WILX) -- The future of Urban Meyer at Ohio State University could be determined today.
The university's board of trustees are talking about the investigation involving the football coach today.
Meyer has been under fire for the way he handled domestic violence allegations against a former assistant coach.
At first he claimed not to know about the abuse allegations against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.
Later, after Smith's ex-wife released text messages between her and Meyer's wife, Meyer admitted lying to reporters but insists he still followed proper protocol.
Meyer has one national championship as the head coach of the Buckeyes, he won two others as the head coach of Florida, a job he later retired from.
The Buckeyes' first game of the year is a week from Saturday against Oregon State.
