LANSING, MI (WILX) - Thousands of dollars were raised tonight at an event aimed at preventing child abuse in Michigan.
The seventeenth annual Children's Trust Fund Auction was held at the Breslin Center on Wednesday night.
It featured one of a kind items, such as dinner with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Several state lawmakers, as well as the Governor were in attendance.
The event honors the legacy of the late Pam Posthumus, the former chair of the Children's Trust Fund board of directors, and a tireless advocate for preventing child abuse in Michigan.
