NAPOLEON TWP., MI. (WILX) -- State troopers are looking into what caused a motorcycle crash in Napoleon Township.
It happened on August 13 at 4:25 a.m. on Napoleon Road near Cady Road.
Troopers have determined so far that the motorcycle was gong northbound on Napoleon Road, lost control, and went off the shoulder on the east side of the highway.
The driver and a female rider, both wearing helmets, were thrown about 75 feet from the cycle.
They suffered severe injuries and were taken to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital.
The driver is a 29-year-old man from Jackson, and the rider is a 33-year-old woman from Chelsea.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Napoleon Fire / Rescue and Jackson Community Ambulance.
