INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) -- The trial for a former local high school girls' basketball coach charged with sexually assaulting a teenager is underway.
Kenneth Tennant is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct against a 14-year-old girl and one count of accosting a 15-year-old girl. The allegations against him go back at least a decade. The girls are now adults and reported the allegations last fall.
Tennant is on trial in Ingham County Circuit Court.
Tennant, of Locke Township, once coached girls basketball at Webberville High School.
