Toyota is recalling vehicles because of airbag issues
Toyota is recalling just over 1-million vehicles worldwide because the airbags could either inflate without a crash or fail to deploy at all.
The recall covers about 17,000 Scion xA vehicles in the U.S. from 2004 to 2006.
Additional models have been recalled in Japan and Europe.
Toyota says an electrical short can damage circuits, causing airbags to not work properly.
Owners will be notified in December if their specific car is affected.
