T-Mobile to retire Sprint name

Say goodbye to Sprint.

The mobile carrier merged with T-Mobile last month.

And Fiercewireless, an industry publication, reports T-Mobile plans to retire the Sprint brand as soon as this summer.

T-Mobile hasn't given a specific date for dropping the Sprint name, but reports are circulating that it will likely happen in early August.
